Chili Cook off Recipe. (Very Spicy!)


  • 1.5 onions yellow, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, chopped
  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • About 6 pieces of bacon-chopped ( apple wood)
  • .5 lb. ground pork
  • 6 (15 ounce) cans tomato puree
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce can) pork and beans, undrained
  • 1/2 cup of apple juice
  • 1.5 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp of oregano
  • 2 tablespoons of  chili powder
  • 1 .5 tablespoons of cayenne red pepper
  • ¼ tsp of sage
  • ¼ tsp of garlic salt
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 1 tablespoon of cumin
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • salt & white pepper to taste
  • Garnishing
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Cilantro
  • Sour cream
  • Baked potatoes at least 4


  •  In a large pan, cook the onion, bell pepper, and the jalapeno in coconut oil until soft.
  • Cook pork and ground beef until browned in a large pot.
  • In a large pan cook 6 pieces of bacon once cooked and slightly browned chop bacon into small pieces. Place bacon into the large pot with the other meat and add about ¼ of bacon grease to it.
  • Add all remaining ingredients and cooked ingredients in the large pot and bring just to a boil, stirring well.
  • Take the baked potatoes and  cut in half. Take the halves and remove the inside leaving the skin to create a bowl. Pour the chili inside on the potatoes.
  • Serve hot with sour cream, cheddar cheese & chopped cilantro to garnish.
